Zirconium (zirconia dioxide) is a white material that closely resembles natural teeth. It is biocompatible, light-transparent, metal-free, and durable. For this reason, it is frequently preferred in dentistry. It can be safely used on both front and back teeth.

Who Can Have Zirconium Crowns?

  • Patients with aesthetic concerns, especially in the frontal region
  • Patients with gaps between their teeth (diastema)
  • Patients with metal allergies
  • Patients with broken, discolored, or worn teeth
  • In patients with gum disease, this condition should be treated first.

How Is It Applied?

  • The teeth are reduced and their measurements are taken ( digital or classical method) .
  • Temporary teeth are attached.
  • Zirconium-based porcelain is prepared in the laboratory.
  • It is proofed and permanently bonded with special adhesive.
