Precision Attachment Prostheses (Snap Prostheses)

Instead of clasps (hooks), more aesthetically and mechanically advanced precision attachments are used to hold onto the teeth. They are more durable and much more aesthetically pleasing than clasped dentures. Cleaning is the same as for full and partial dentures. Care must be taken with the delicate attachments when inserting and removing them. A break in the tooth or acrylic can be repaired, but if the delicate attachment breaks, repair is difficult.
